Basically, with all of the using of the internet for information, directions, or whatever, it is ever increasingly likely you are getting spyware installed on your computer without you even knowing. Some may be in the form of programs, others in the forms of cookies. You need to get rid of all of this stuff. Run an anti-spyware software and get this stuff off of your computer. This will help with the security and privacy of your computer, and where you have been on the internet. A good software will find these, and remove them for you.

Lastly, keep your registry files optimized. These files tell the computer how to operate certain programs and hardware. If the files are messed up, the computer is not sure how to do something. Then it just sits there thinking. This will definitely slow down your computer. Get a free scan of your computer and see if you have any errors.
